Womens Woodland Walks
Walk, talk and connect with likeminded women
Service Description
A Breath of Fresh Air for the Soul Sometimes, the best medicine is simply a walk in the woods and a good conversation. Join us for a relaxed and supportive woodland walk, designed to help you boost your wellbeing through gentle movement and the healing power of nature. This isn’t a power walk or a fitness test; it’s a welcoming space to unwind, step away from your "to-do" list, and clear your mind in the beauty of Swinley Forest. The Experience We meet at Great Hollands Pavilion before heading into the trees for a 1.5-hour walk. We keep to a comfortable, steady pace that allows for easy breathing and easy chatting. 🍃 Unwind: Let the forest air help you release the stress of the week. 💬 Connect: A judgment-free space to meet and talk with like-minded women who "get it." ☕ Optional Cuppa: After our walk, you are warmly invited to return to the Pavilion for an optional tea/coffee and a chance to continue the conversation. Who It’s For This walk is perfect if you: Are feeling overwhelmed and just need to get out of the house. Want to meet a local community of supportive women. Enjoy the medicine of the forest but don't want to walk alone. Are looking for a low-pressure way to boost your mental and physical health. Important Information Terrain: Please note that the walk includes some inclines and uneven forest terrain. A basic level of mobility is required. Footwear: Suitable footwear (walking boots or sturdy trainers) is essential. Weather: We walk in most conditions, so please bring a waterproof layer just in case!
